Trials and Blessings
I knew with each passing month that this world is getting worse. I couldn't believe all that has happened since I was a small child. Life seemed easier then in some aspects. I know that as an adult it can be a little upsetting to watch all these events unfold in front of my eyes. I couldn't imagine being a child and witnessing such trauma outside my four walls. We have about a month to go before we will ring in the New year. I hope 2012, will bring about real change and hope that we all seem to agree we need. I know when I decide to vote on my candidate. I want to make sure he is going to do the people's work, not satisfy his or her own needs and desires to add on to the craziness and human suffering.
So here is to all those we lost and we have mourned for. And here is to all the accomplishments and happiness. I wish you and yours a brighter New Year !

I jumped out of bed Jan 1, 2011. I never knew that this year would have all the ups and downs and twists and turns like I haven't seen before. In my mind, my life was going forward and I began to make a list of things to accomplish this year. I knew that no matter what was going on around me. I would stay focused and accomplish what I set out to do. Then it happened. I turned on the television and witnessed with my eyes what the world is coming to. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about how the world events would shape my life. Would the nation’s debt crisis and the calamities of earthquakes, floods and volcanic eruptions damper my goals?

This month has been quiet and productive. I went out and landed myself a job! I knew that if I was going to get this publishing company up and running, I needed to get some bills paid. I took a customer service job working 40 hours a week. I love talking on the phone as much as I like to write. I landed the job on 11-11. I signed in at 11:11. I am going into my third week in training class. I have a test on Monday the 28th. I enjoyed our thanksgiving and I am glad to still be here on Hub Pages.
I wish I could of acquired more folks to enter so that I could have completed and get ready for sale a christmas book project, I had hoped to do. I will have to make it for Valentines Day! It will be even better then, because I hope to be completly up and running with the publishing company. What a year. I think compared to what all happened outside the safety of my home, I haven't had too bad of a year!

It is so nice to see you again! :) Isn't it amazing what one year, 12 months of healing emotionally, spiritually and physically can do for a person in the year to come?
I gave up my job to follow my dream and destiny..as a writer. I just couldn't juggle it all. I knew that I had to choose to live my life by choice, not by chance. :)

Decided to visit since I haven't been around for a while and landed on this hub - love it. I had no idea that so many eventful things happened last year, including that there even was a mock Mars mission simulation - what a space buff I turned out to be! I don't watch the news, but I'm giving you a personal thanks for being my recap reporter of the year on this one.
I'm astonished at how well you've spent your year: writing, editing and starting a publishing business, whoa. Hope you will see some income coming in soon so you won't have to stay at that job for too long. Happy New year Jo.
